Can I add notes to items in my class for my own purposes?

Yes, notes are meant for instructors to use for organizational purposes. When adding an item via Canvas, you can add notes along with other bibliographic information. If an item has already been added to a course, you can add both Instructor Notes and Student Notes. Student Notes are viewable by everyone in the course and are useful for organizing readings; Instructor Tags are only visible to you.
