Performing Arts Library

Directions

The Performing Arts Library is located inside Arnhold Hall at 55 West 13th Street, about half a block west of the University Center along 13th Street.

From 14th Street and 6th Avenue, head south one block on 6th Avenue, then turn left (East) onto 13th Street. Arnhold Hall is located about halfway down the block on the left (North) side, and is marked with red New School banners.

From Union Square, head west along 14th Street to 5th Avenue, then turn left and walk South for one block before turning right (East) onto 13th Street. Arnhold Hall is located about halfway down the block on the right (North) side, and is marked with red New School banners.

The Performing Arts Library's service desk is located on the second floor, as are music scores and the reading room. Books on music, dance, and drama as well as the script collection are on the ninth floor. Self-Check Out machines are available on the 9th floor to borrow and return materials.
